LOST the "Maxi-Series" Part II

I read an article on Yahoo! News today that was related to the topic I posted recently about ABC's hit show LOST. It stated that the makers of the show are indeed in talks to determine an end date for the show. As I stated before, I feel this be good way to handle this show. By knowing when the show will end, it could reduce some of the edginess fans have about the twists and turns, knowing that the writers do have an ultimate plan for the show. This decision seems to have a good deal to do with the way the X-Files was handled in the past.
