Gillette Stadium is home to the New England Patriots of the NFL. Opened in 2002, this stadium has been the home of the Super Bowl Champions 2 of the 5 years it has been open. Interestingly enough 2 of the 3 AFC Championship games leading to the Super Bowl weren't played in Boston, but in Pittsburgh.

I found an cool article on ESPN.com today. It ranks every team that has played in a Super Bowl over the past 40 years. Note that my beloved Packers (the 1996 team anyway) came in at No. 6 overall.
